SUMMARY:Easter Outreach in Tororo
DESCRIPTION:We celebrated Easter with the SCD community in Mudakori\, Tororo. The event included sensitization sessions on SCD\, best practices for caretakers\, skills development workshops on making reusable sanitary towels\, and sharing our innovative ideas for better SCD management. A survey was conducted to gather feedback from patients about their experiences and needs \nAwareness Campaigns: We have conducted several awareness campaigns focused on the importance of mental health support for SCD patients and their caregivers. \n○ Skills Development Workshops: In our ongoing effort to empower patients and caregivers\, we have conducted workshops focused on practical skills such as making reusable sanitary towels. These sessions not only provide valuable skills but also foster a sense of achievement and self-reliance.
