At the heart of the Cellsense project lies the development of an innovative, cutting-edge wearable device designed specifically for individuals living with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD). Our first prototype has been improved and miniaturized to fit comfortably as a wristband, making it a practical solution for patients to track their health effortlessly. The device comes equipped with advanced sensors and an OLED display that continuously monitors key vitals such as oxygenated blood levels, heart rate, and other critical health indicators
Real-Time Monitoring and Data Collection
This wearable device connects to a wireless network, enabling real-time data transmission to our cloud-based platform. The platform collects and stores vital information about the patient’s health status, which is then accessible to healthcare providers for timely diagnosis and personalized treatment. Patients can see their real-time vitals on the device display, providing immediate feedback and ensuring they are always informed about their health
AI-Driven Insights and Predictive Analysis
What sets Cellsense apart is its use of advanced artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms. These machine learning models analyze the continuous stream of health data collected from the wearable device. By identifying patterns and trends in the patient’s vitals, the system can predict potential complications such as Sickle Cell crises. This early warning system raises alerts and calls to action, both for the patient and their healthcare providers, enabling intervention before a crisis occurs.
